Sayin Goodbye

You came like an oasis, in the desert,
The star that guides the lost one,
An ailment to the wounded soul,
Bringing hope like the rising sun.

When i was thirsty, searching for a drop of water,
You showed me your tears.
When i was lost searching for a place to stay,
You showed me your heart.
When i was hurt, and could hardly move a muscle,
You showed me how to change gears.
When i felt life was setting,never to come again,
You showed me how to restart.

You gave me your hand when I was drowning,
You gave me your smile when I was frowning,
You gave me your warmth,when buried in cold,
In your arms, I dissolved, a perfect mold.

Now, where are you?, why have you gone?
leaving those dreams, in times forgone.
Did you give joy only to take it away?,
Did you show me the path,to leave me astray?

I wish i was still lost, still hurt I wish i had drowned.
I wish me and my aching heart, you would never have found.
The suffering was better off, I wish you'd let me cry,
than, momentary bliss and then saying good bye.
